Normalisation is applied across shifts to offset difficulty variance. Final merit list is drawn stream-wise & category-wise; UR candidates with 230+/375 usually bag a seat. Waiting list equal to 50 % of vacancies is published to cater to unforeseen vacancies till the next recruitment cycle.
Document verification happens immediately after interview; discrepancies in caste, PwBD, educational % or identity lead to instant disqualification. RBI also conducts medical fitness at own dispensaries; severe issues (uncontrolled diabetes, colour blindness for General stream etc.) can result in rejection, hence aspirants are advised to maintain sound health before joining Indias central bank.
