Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Initially, candidates had to qualify through a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 100 Multiple Choice Questions carrying 100 marks. The examination was timed for 90 minutes. In order to succeed in this stage, aspirants needed a strong command over Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness subjects. Each correct answer fetched one mark while there was a negative marking of 1/3 mark for every incorrect attempt.

Following the CBT, shortlisted candidates advanced to the Physical Tests (PET/PMT) and eventually Document Verification. The PET standards differed according to gender and included activities such as 1600m Run in specified time and High Jump events. These details help shape the preparation strategy, particularly in the physical phase.
