Age Limit Requirements

The upper age limit as on 01-12-2025 for applying to UGC NET JRF is 30 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Women are granted relaxation in age as per the existing government norms. However, there is no age restriction for eligibility to UGC NET only (Assistant Professor).

The age relaxation provisions are intended to support socially and economically disadvantaged groups. Eligibility Criteria

Pay Scale
